If you're like me, you sing along with the radio, and even know every single lyric to your favorites!

I'm a huge fan of music. A proud Gen Xer!

I graduated high school in the early 90s, so "grunge" (hate that term) is my go-to.  Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, the list goes on and on.  There's also a dash of 90s "gangsta" rap (I sound just as ridiculous saying that in my head as I do out loud, in case you're wondering), some old school influence from my parents, like Beatles, Billy Joel (my first concert in 7th grade!), Queen, Air Supply..  It wasn't until my 30s that I even gave country music the time of day, but I did and I really love a lot off country music too.

So basically what I'm tellin' you, is that I'm all over the place.

Here's my CD drawer. My current CD drawer. Yes, I still have all my old CDs.  No, I don't have a CD player anymore. *face palm*  There are even a few VHS tapes in there, and nope, I don't have a VCR either.

My point is, I've been singing along, even crying, to some of these songs.  Many of them were never even on the radio, I just connected with them when listening to the entire album (yep- got those too and nope, no record player).

Now, during this Great Awakening we are living through... this New American Revolution... this 5th Generation War (Gen Flynn's Book; 5GW), the lyrics really stand out more than they ever have.  I realize that I was singing along to stories I knew nothing about, because to me it was just good stories.

But were they "just stories"?
Or were they more?
Were they hints?
Were they warnings?

Let's start here... with Muse's Uprising.

You've been singing this for over 10 years, but have you really listened?  The song is in a ton of Scotty Mar10's films and other anon videos.

Muse band members are: Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums).
Their Official Muse website shows that they are currently on a World Tour, called "Will of the People".  That, and other titles from them, are now grabbing my attention.

But for now, let's focus on "Uprising".

"Uprising" by Muse, 2009

The paranoia is in bloom, the P-R
Transmissions will resume
They'll try to push drugs
That keep us all dumbed down and hope that
We will never see the truth around
(So come on)

Another promise, another scene,
Another package lie to keep us trapped in greed
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on)

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
(So come on)

Interchanging mind control
Come let the revolution take its toll if you could
Flick a switch and open your third eye, you'd see that
We should never be afraid to die
(So come on)

Rise up and take the power back, it's time that
The fat cats had a heart attack, you know that
Their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend
(So come on)

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
(So come on)

Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
(So come on)

Hey, hey, hey, hey
